6th Annual Celina Expo

This years’ Expo will feature product demonstrations, training seminars, and many other activities. The Expo allows Celina’s customers the chance to view new/ existing event and tent rental products, learn about changes and opportunities in the event rental industry, and network with their peers. Celina will also be offering manufacturing tours, round table discussions, tent competition games, door prizes, and product discounts.

“The Road Show” will be presented September 27th by TRAM - Tent Renters Association of the Midwest on the Celina Tent manufacturing grounds. This day long tent installation and training certification program is designed for the professional installer. The Road Show promotes safety, integrity and effective time management. 4th Annual Celina Expo Recap
Celina Enterprises held their 4th Annual Celina Expo on October 7th, 2009 at our location in Celina, OH. We had an outstanding turnout with a record number of 180 guests.

TOUR OF TENTS AND DISTRIBUTION CENTER:
- Celina presented a tour of tents explaining the difference between the many tent styles that Celina offers. Attendees were also able to tour Celina’s 30,000 square foot warehouse and distribution center located in Coldwater, Ohio.

TECHNICAL TRAINING SESSIONS:
- Tom Markel (Owner- Bravo Tents - Buffalo, NY) presented generators & electrical requirements for events and NFPA & life safety training sessions.

TENT STAKING SEMINAR
- Pete McVey (Owner- McVey Tent & Expo - Appleton, WI) gave an informative, hands on demonstration of proper tent staking methods.

PINNACLE TENT RACE:
- Back by popular demand! Participants were timed on installing a 15×15 Pinnacle Cross Cable Tent. Clas Event Rentals won the 2009 competition for the second consecutive year. They received the 15′ x 15′ Pinnacle Cross Cable Tent for their winning efforts.

CELINA TENT GAMES:
- New to this year’s events was the Celina Tent Games hosted by Pete McVey and Tonya. Participants competed in the fast pace tent lacing competition, stake driving competition, and the ever popular chair throwing competition.

TENT REPAIR & MAINTENANCE DEMONSTRATIONS:
- Our experienced manufacturing staff presented informative demonstrations on tent repair, cleaning, and tips to keep your tent looking its best.

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION:
- We were very fortunate to have Peter McVey, Tom Markel, and Jim Erickson (Executive Director TRAM/TRAAC) participate in the informative round table discussion. This question and answer discussion was on trends and strategies for business growth and profitability in the tent and event rental industry.

PRODUCT DISPLAYS:
- All of Celina’s products were on display. Products included Tents, Tables & Chairs, Rental Accessories, and much more.

SPECIALS:
- Over $6000.00 in door prizes were given away!
- A tent auction through out the day on all the display tents
- Prices were lowered on selected Clearance items: We still have some left!
- A special discount was given to the attendees on orders quoted during the expo

Celina Enterprises held their 3rd Annual Celina Expo on October 1st, 2008 at our location in Celina, OH. We had an outstanding turnout of over 100 guests and the response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. We hope you had a chance to learn a number of new things, network with your peers, meet our staff members, and most importantly, enjoy your time with us. Thank you to our customers and vendors for making the 2008 Celina Expo a success!
Guests were treated to a buffet lunch, door prizes, fun filled contests, and a wide variety of product displays. A special discount coupon was also offered to attendees of the Expo. In addition, attendees were given the opportunity to purchase most of the tents on display via sealed bid auction. Also new this year attendees were able to obtain great discounts on selected products through our cash and carry specials!
We are also delighted to announce that we have selected the date for next years Expo. The 2009 Celina Expo will be held on October 7th at our facility. Plans are already in the works to make next year’s event even bigger and better.

TENT STAKING AND SQUARING SEMINAR
Peter McVey of McVey Tent gave informative, hands on demonstration of proper tent squaring and staking methods.
TENT RACE:
Back by popular demand! Participants were timed on installing a 15×15 Pinnacle Cross Cable Tent. Clas Event Rentals won the 2008 competition with a record time of 2 Minutes 31 Seconds. They received the 15′ x 15′ Pinnacle Cross Cable Tent for their winning efforts.
STAKE DRIVING CONTEST:
New to this year’s events was the stake driving competition hosted by Ray Robinson. Participants were timed to drive in a 42” tent stake, the fastest time of three divisions won!

Men over 45 – Jim Patterson, West Michigan Event
Women – Gay Schoeff , Schoeff’s & Adams County Tent Rental

Celina Tent hosted their 2nd Annual Celina Expo at our location in Celina, OH on October 10, 2007. Attendees were treated to tours of our facility, as well as hands on demonstrations provided by Celina Tent vendors and staff. Demonstrations included Vinyl and Grommet Repair, Tent Cleaning, Tent Squaring, and Proper Tent Staking Techniques. Guests were treated to a buffet lunch, door prizes, fun filled contests, and a wide variety of product displays. Special discount opportunities were also offered on selected items and available only to attendees of the Expo. In addition, attendees were given the opportunity to purchase many of the tents on display via sealed bid auction.
Due to the great success and tremendous response we received from this year’s event, we are excited to announce that we have selected the date for next years Expo. On October 18th, 2006 Celina Tent held its first annual Celina Expo at our location in Celina, OH. We were blessed with good weather and a great turnout and the day was a huge success. Many existing and potential new customers attended the day’s events and were awarded with a quality and fun filled learning experience.
This event sparked a new tradition for Celina Tent and we are busy working to make this year’s event better. The major unknown for last year’s event was the number of participants to expect that day. This is where you can help us get ready for our 2007 Celina Expo.
Below is information on how to be involved in this year’s event and take advantage of our industry knowledge, network with other tent rental owners, train your employees for free using our equipment, and cash in on some great fall discounts. We will have various tents set up and on display around the grounds and product demonstrations will be strategically placed throughout to make everything easily accessible for all participants.
